Hi, I’m Sarah.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified EMDR Practitioner. I’m also a mom, a Californian, an artist, and an adventurer. I am engaged in anti-racist work around my white advantage. I love to cook, camp, and dance, and for the last 20 + years, I have practiced (key word being practiced!) being a conscious adult in a world that loves living on auto-pilot.

I believe that for any real change to take place, consciousness is key. By becoming an active observer of your own thoughts, feelings, behaviors, associations and belief systems (whether created or inherited) you can ultimately empower yourself to make the wise and skillful choices necessary to take your life in a different direction.

My clients are often motivated, self-determined individuals who have created lives they love, and are also acutely aware of what is not working for them. I love to work with artists, entrepreneurs and creatives and ultimately I work with folks who are committed to their path of growth and determined to shift their own problematic ways of being in the world, whether that means changing behaviors or working with underlying dysfunctional (and often unconscious) beliefs.

Often times my clients have a spiritual connection that aids them in their process of growth and change.

Once in the room, we will collaboratively determine how best to work towards your goals. Sometimes we’ll just talk, and sometimes we’ll use meditation, art, or EMDR, or something else that will aid you in deepening, healing, or clarifying your experience.

Regardless of how we make our way through, there will most likely be laughter.

“There are many ways to the Divine. I have chosen the ways of song, dance, and laugher.”
